this was a fantastic stay!! I lived in chicago for many years but never in avondale. this spot is in a quiet neighborhood, but very walkable to downtown logan/transit options. I highly recommend staying with thomas and cynthia!

Cynthia and Thomas place was perfect for us. The house is in a great location along a quiet, private street but just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of the city. We found a wonderful coffee spot around the corner. Easy check-in and checkout. All the amenities we could ask for were provided and our hosts were proactive in asking if there was anything else we needed during our stay. We definitely recommend this Airbnb and we’ll certainly use it again when we’re in Chicago.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a great experience! Thomas and Cynthia were very responsive when we had questions and we had no issues with the property. Personally, I enjoyed their coffee maker that easily ground fresh beans, which they provided, and made it convenient to enjoy fresh coffee each morning. Everything was clean and well maintained. Overall, highly recommend!

I’m so happy with my stay at Thomas and Cynthia’s place. It is beautifully and newly renovated. The neighborhood is quiet, but close enough to Logan Square and very close (easily walkable) to excellent restaurants and coffee shops (roasters) in this up-and-coming spot. I felt safe walking and running by myself. But the star of the show is the space! Beautifully decorated with a touch of whimsy.. private deck.. central A/C.. king bed which was super comfortable.. and the spa bathroom. This is the kind of airbnb I almost don’t want to share because I selfishly want to stay again and again. Book with confidence!

The apartment was beautiful and had lots of amenities! It was in a great location for us too. Thomas and Cynthia were very responsive and friendly. They put together a beautiful Airbnb and we will definitely come back again!

Beautiful design, natural light, a soaking tub, comfy bed and furniture, private balcony/deck, and the rare perks of on-site parking and in-unit laundry—this place has it all! Communication was seamless, which I especially appreciated when I realized I left some precious belongings behind and Thomas immediately got in touch and made arrangements for their return. Would definitely stay here again!

This is an excellent home. Beautifully decorated and clean. We were there to see the Cubs play, and it was a great walkable location. We will rebook for our next visit!

The apartment was extremely clean and had a lot of amenities from luxurious towels to lovely teas that made it very comfortable. It was spacious and it’s evident the design and aesthetic was well thought out. The only complaint is the level of noise that it made its way into the apartment, though it didn’t disrupt our sleep in the bedroom area.

The overall stay was great! Communication was great! Very clean house inside and outside. Nice kitchen with everything you need. The only thing I would point out was how hot was in the house when we arrived. It took few hours to get it to cool down considering it was extremely hot outside. Other than that everything was good!
