The feel of a boutique hotel, in a cozy home that's all to yourself! Thomas & Cynthia did a fab job of creating a modern, trendy space that's functional and comfortable. Especially loved the well stocked kitchen, the whimsical wallpaper/paint decor, and the arcade space in the lower level. For nighttime - excellent linens on top of mattresses that favor those who love a firm+supportive sleeping experience. Nice little outdoor space in the backyard in the backyard, too! This great space is an easy walk to Andersonville's main drag for great dining and shopping. Combine it all with hosts who were easy to communicate with and you've got a real nice stay ahead of you. Thanks, Thomas & Cynthia!

I was looking for a space that felt like home and where I could work. Thomas and Cynthia's place was amazing and I felt right at home. The dedicated workspace and desk was exactly what I needed. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I'll definitely stay again whenever I'm in Chicago.

Thomas & Cynthia's condo was great. The private parking spot was nice to have, check-in was easy, and the condo matched the description. We knew that there would no stove/oven, just a mini-fridge and microwave, so we brought some sandwich fixings etc. so that we wouldn't need to eat out for every meal. We had our 1-year-old with us, and despite not being baby-proofed, the condo was very safe for him — except for the stairs that connect the condo's floor to the entrance door. We solved this issue by blocking the stairs with the bench in the closet (turned on its side), which worked well enough. If I were to suggest anything to the hosts, it would be to add three things: 1. a baby gate (for the stairs) for those traveling with toddlers 2. a hot plate and a couple pots/pans, so that guests can at least cook a few simple things (you can get a decent induction hot plate for cheap) 3. towel hooks for the bathroom Otherwise, the place was wonderful, and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

We had an amazing stay at Thomas and Cynthia’s! Check in was so easy and the house was squeaky clean! The host responded in mere minutes and was so accommodating. It was a short drive to cute little coffee shops, down town St Joseph, etc. where we spent the day walking around. The house was equipped with everything we needed to cook home meals. The only thing to note is that the hot tub is wood fire heated. It took us about 5-6 hours and trips back and forth to ensure the fire was still going. Once it was warm, it stayed warm and was perfect. We would highly recommend staying here

We had such a great stay with our 6-month old daughter. The space was clean, easy to access, in a friendly neighborhood, AND you get your own parking space. Major bonus in a big city! We will definitely be staying again. The hosts were super friendly and responsive as well. :)

The place was great! I have absolutely zero complaints, it was really nice to be able to use the hot tub and sauna during a snow storm! Thomas was very responsive and helpful. They were even willing to give us a later checkout time due to the weather. All in all 5/5 experience.

This place was exactly as listed and had everything I needed. Every aspect of my stay was easy, all instructions were clearly explained and there are printed details for everything in the unit. The location is perfect, close enough to restaurants and things to do, but also far enough from the main streets that its not loud. The parking permits were a huge bonus and it was pretty easy to find a spot, even on the weekend. I'm saving this listing and will definitely look to stay here again next time I come to Chicago.

We really enjoyed the ease of Thomas & Cynthia’s Airbnb— it felt like a home away from home! The gated parking space for the rental was perfect for our trip (we had a car). They were communicative hosts, and upon entering the studio, we were impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the rental. I personally favorited this listing for the deep bathtub, which I used several times throughout our stay! It was such a nice way to unwind on our little getaway. I would like to personally note that their was a rainbow mat in the entryway that reads “all are welcome here”, so for all LGBTQIA+ guests, allies, and folks who support marginalized communities, this is a safe space listing! I will be rebooking this listing in the future, and recommending it to all of my flight attendant friends who are planning on spending time in Chicago!
