Our stay here in early October was wonderful! Such a cute cottage, decorated beautifully with so many amenities. The fresh ground coffee in the morning was so delicious! Huge fire pit with plenty of wood available. There was beach chairs and toys to utilize at the beach. Corn hole set to enjoy outside in the big yard. It's so close to the cutest downtown area with shops, wineries and delicious food options. The wood burning hot tub was such a neat experience. It was a couple minutes from Rocky Gap and couple more to Silver Beach. Would give this place an 11 out of 10 and will definitely be back for warmer weather. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating as well.

We really enjoyed the ease of Thomas & Cynthia’s Airbnb— it felt like a home away from home! The gated parking space for the rental was perfect for our trip (we had a car). They were communicative hosts, and upon entering the studio, we were impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the rental. I personally favorited this listing for the deep bathtub, which I used several times throughout our stay! It was such a nice way to unwind on our little getaway. I would like to personally note that their was a rainbow mat in the entryway that reads “all are welcome here”, so for all LGBTQIA+ guests, allies, and folks who support marginalized communities, this is a safe space listing! I will be rebooking this listing in the future, and recommending it to all of my flight attendant friends who are planning on spending time in Chicago!

Really nice house in a nice peaceful neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and more within walking distance. Standing passengers coffee was amazing in the morning. The tub was amazing and the house was very comfortable. Neighborhood felt very safe and had street parking for the house.

Really nice place with modern updates and clean rooms. The place was easy to get into and had a lot of nice places to sit both in and outside. The kitchen was large and I was able to cook food for myself each day. I would stay again in the future.

Great stay! The location was excellent to commute to the medical district, and the host provided street parking tickets for the duration of the stay. All questions were answered promptly. Kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with quality items, and the unit was in pristine condition. Terrific Thai and Mexican restaurants within walking distance.

This was an extremely comfortable place to stay. It was clean with well thought out attention to detail. It is a wonderful older home that has been well cared for. The kitchen has been remodeled and updated with new appliances, cabinets and everything you would ever need. It has a wash machine and dryer and the wonderful parking space! It is walkable to restaurants and grocery stores. Best of all were the hosts. Mary Beth and Thomas were quick to respond to all my questions. They have super host status for a reason. Definitely 5 stars.

Thomas and Cynthia's place is a gem! Very quiet, spacious, and super clean! The Murphy bed is a great option. We found it close to everything and a nice alternative to expensive hotels. We would highly recommend it, and would stay there again! Thanks for a great stay!

Thomas and Cynthia were very responsive. They responded to my messages very quickly when I had questions. Their place was beautiful and clean. I also liked that it was walking distance to restaurants and shops.

We have family and a college student in Chicago so we are there quite often. We stay in a lot of Airbnb’s, and Thomas & Cynthia’s was a favorite! It was clean and comfortable. In addition to the incredible spa like bathroom, the beds were excellent. We LOVED having a shared garage, and the awesome deck was quite peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out there at night. We also really liked this location for getting to our family’s home in Logan Square. It only took 15 minutes or so which was ideal. Last, but not least, we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. People were friendly and most everyone seemed to take really good care of their homes and yards. My wife loved the large number of flowers people had in their yards and planters. We hope to get back to this again one of these days! Thank you again for your hospitality, Thomas & Cynthia!

Wonderful spacious place, peaceful neighborhood. The kitchen area was also awesome. The bar (Chipp Inn) being a block away was great for a group of guys on a vacation. Everything was nearly perfect. However, as an engineer, the bathroom sink drove me crazy! The faucet doesn't extend long enough and barely goes past the rear edge of the sink! Extremely minor, but that's my only gripe... the criticism is all in good fun though!
